Who you'll be with
Not a cellar door. Somebody's home.
Luca’s family has worked the Il Pirondel vineyard for close to three hundred years. He makes the wine himself, in the cantina behind the house, and he’ll tell you exactly what went right and wrong with each vintage — which is not something you get on a coach tour. Production is small and every bottle is estate grown. There isn’t a bigger version of this, and that’s rather the point.
Kirsty came from England and stayed. She runs the creative workshops out in the vineyard, or in the old wine cellar if it’s raining: yoga, drawing, painting and botanical printing on linen and tote bags. Everything is taught in both English and Italian, and everyone is welcome, whatever they may think of their own talents. It’s a chance to let your inner creativity blossom.
